A collection of photos taken for our new advertising, with both buses now in full livery. Obviously, these aren't good enough, but I'll keep them for my personal use.

Looking out over Broad Sound with two Cruise & Maritime ships at anchor. The nearest is the 'Marco Polo' and the other is the 'Astoria'.

Well, I've been going for a week and a half, numbers are very low but the people I've carried have all been lovely. Nice to see the cafes opening up now. The Island is starting to spring into life again.

The end of another era when we say, 'Goodbye' to my pride and joy for the last 6 years.

Well that's it for another season. Last tour went well this afternoon, so now I'm going into hibernation, the bus will be returned to the leasing Company next week and then hopefully off on my hols. Thanks to all our customers over the 2016 season, I've met a lot of nice peolpe this year. The nice thing about the minibus is that it's more social and more relaxed than the big bus. I believe that getting back to my roots is the future.

Good Afternoon All, Just to let you know that I’ll be re-starting the tours on Monday morning. I’ve down sized to a 16 seater minibus so seats won’t be as readily available as they once were. If you have any visitors that want to go on the tours, please ask them to be at Holgate’s Green 15 mins before the departure time in order to avoid disappointment. It should also be noted that on Monday, Tuesday and alternate Friday afternoons, I’ll be busy with Mainland Coach Companies, so if you're staying on the Island, it’s advisable to choose an alternative time and day if possible. Through September, I have several bookings from Groups that are staying here on St Mary’s and due to the drop in the number of seats, I’ll be spending more time with them, trying to cater for their numbers. I can only apologise for the inconvenience a smaller bus will generate, but hopefully next year, we’ll be properly organised. I’ll do my best to keep you updated, but I ask you advise people to look for daily updates on the boards at Holgate’s. General rule of thumb….. No boards, No tours. Itinerary: Monday to Friday = 10:15 & 13:30 Saturday = 10:15 only. Sunday = No tours. Best wishes, Glynne (Island Rover)

It's with great regret that I have to say that the Volvo is now kaput. I've decided that due to the cost & logistics involved in shipping large vehicles to the Island, I'm downsizing to a 16 seater minibus. It's on lease and I'll be going up to Surrey to pick her up next week. I hope to be back up & running on Monday 8th August. I'm afraid it's the end of an era and the style of the tours will be changing to adapt to a smaller environment. As from next year, we envisage getting 2 minibuses, so the number of passengers we can cater for will remain almost the same as they are at present. Watch this space. :-)
